Financial Plan & Analysis Senior Analyst

Overview

Senior Analyst in Accenture's Finance Operations vertical supporting financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting and variance analysis.

What you'll do

• Support the Annual Operating Plan and regular forecast exercises.
• Plan, create and manage reporting data and report outputs from various database systems.
• Perform financial planning, reporting, variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting, including preparation and analysis of P&L, forecast accuracy and SG&A expense analysis.
• Prepare Working Capital and Cost of Sales reports to support the business.
• Collect operational data and reports, conduct analysis and reconcile transactions.
• Prepare standard and ad hoc management reports for region, country, product and service type, providing standardized, ad hoc and insightful analyses.
• Use applications including Onestream, Anaplan, SAP, Power BI and MS Excel, understanding their business and technical functionality.
• Provide support to business units across the region and brands, including product understanding, validation, problem and query resolution and coordination of communications.
• Manage client communication, respond to queries and investigate irregularities and anomalies as required.
• Analyse and solve increasingly complex problems.

What you'll need

• Any graduation.
• 5 to 8 years of experience.
• Domain expertise in FP&A (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and reporting).
• Good understanding of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements.
• Good knowledge of accounting, financial and operational principles.
• Experience developing financial reports and metrics.
• Strong experience in key planning and forecasting tools, including but not limited to Onestream and Anaplan.
• Experience working on the SAP ERP platform.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
• Ability to analyse and solve increasingly complex problems.

Nice to have

• Experience working on analytics applications such as Power BI and Power Query, including creating dashboards.
• Experience participating in transformation and improvement initiatives for the FP&A area.

• Comfortable to work in flexible or night shifts.
• Day-to-day interactions with client counterparts and peers and management within Accenture.
