Overview

FinCrime Operations Team Lead - Screening will oversee daily operations of a team of FinCrime Operations Analysts/Specialists, ensuring effective mitigation of financial crime risks for customers.

What you'll do

• Develop and oversee daily team operations with a focus on regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
• Lead by example and foster a customer-focused mindset across the FinCrime organization.
• Coach, mentor, and manage performance of analysts/specialists, including feedback and development plans.
• Conduct quality reviews and one-on-one coaching sessions to maintain high decision accuracy.
• Guide complex, high-risk cases and escalations, following established protocols.
• Measure KPIs, ensure targets and quality standards are met, and manage tasks aligned to team goals.

What you'll need

• At least 1–2 years leading small to medium sized teams, preferably in operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English for reports and customer communications.
• Good understanding of the regulatory framework surrounding KYC/AML/Fraud/Risk and financial crime prevention.
• Familiarity with money laundering methods and other financial crime trends.
• Strong operational management and tactical decision-making skills under tight deadlines.
• A strong process-oriented, efficiency-driven mindset.
