Forward Deployed Engineer

Overview

Forward Deployed Engineer focused on building customer-facing AI agents, integrations, and automations on DevRev’s core platform.

What you'll do

• Develop and launch AI agents that connect DevRev to customer workflows.
• Build and deploy integrations via APIs, webhooks, and real-time communication architectures.
• Improve AI performance using prompt engineering and semantic search tuning.
• Analyze data using SQL and build dashboards for customer insights.
• Prototype proofs-of-concept and run live technical demos with stakeholder feedback.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to maintain alignment on implementations.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of software development, systems integration, or platform engineering experience.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and Python.
• Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG/function calling, and evals.
• Experience with large-scale data synchronization (one-way and two-way) and API integration patterns (REST, GraphQL, webhooks) plus event-driven/pub/sub architectures.
• Hands-on deployment experience on serverless/edge (AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions) with CI/CD, containers, and observability.
• Experience with data mapping/schema alignment and graph data structures.
• Experience with logging, error surfacing, and telemetry for debugging.

Details

• Location: India Remote.
• Travel: willing to travel up to 80% for on-site implementations and customer engagements.
