Forward Deployed Engineer – Generative & Agentic AI

Overview

Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with business units and stakeholders and build working Generative and Agentic AI solutions inside real enterprise systems and data.

What you'll do

• Embed with business units to understand workflows, data, and pain points.
• Scope and ship Generative AI / Agentic AI solutions across POCs, MVPs, and production features.
• Build RAG pipelines, apply prompt engineering, and create evaluation (“evals”) frameworks.
• Design and build API-first integrations into existing enterprise systems.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and relay technical tradeoffs to stakeholders.
• Lead stakeholder workshops, present progress, and flag risks before they block delivery.
• Apply MLOps/LLMOps practices (CI/CD, monitoring, lifecycle management) for reliable production deployments.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of overall software engineering / IT experience.
• 3+ years building Generative AI / Agentic AI systems hands-on.
• Strong expertise in Python and modern AI development frameworks.
• Practical experience with LLMs and multiagent orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, AutoGen, or Semantic Kernel).
• Deep understanding of RAG architectures, vector databases, and embedding models.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP) including native AI services.
• Proven MLOps/LLMOps experience including CI/CD, containerization, observability, and eval frameworks.
