Front End Developer -AVP

Overview

Assistant Vice President – Front End Developer responsible for designing and building web-based user interfaces, dashboards, and operational platforms for MUFG Securities Asia technology initiatives.

What you'll do

• Design and develop modern web applications, dashboards, and operational portals using JavaScript and related technologies.
• Build UI components for workflow visibility/control, monitoring and alert dashboards, and user-triggered automation processes.
• Convert manual and Excel-based processes into web-based applications and centralized solutions.
• Integrate front-end applications with backend systems using APIs and support data display and interaction.
• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, backend developers, automation engineers, and QA/testing teams for delivery and defect resolution.
• Support BAU by monitoring performance, handling incidents/issues/enhancements, and performing root-cause analysis.
• Prepare technical documentation (design, UI specs, user guides) and support deployment/knowledge transfer.

What you'll need

• 8–10 years of experience in front-end or full-stack development with strong UI focus in enterprise environments.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and modern web development frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js for application serving and API integration.
• Proven experience modernizing Excel/macros and EUC tools into web-based applications.
• Experience integrating front-end applications with backend APIs.
• Minimum 2 years using GitHub Copilot or AI-assisted development tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
