Front Line Manager - F&A - R2R 4A

Overview

Front Line Manager in Finance and Accounting (F&A), Record to Report (R2R) team, supporting month-end and year-end close, general ledger management, financial reporting, controls and team leadership, with a development track into controllership or financial management.

What you'll do

• Support and oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely journal entries, accruals and adjustments.
• Coordinate with AP, AR, Tax and Treasury teams for accurate closing.
• Monitor and review General Ledger entries, ensure proper account reconciliations and documentation, and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and support internal, external, corporate, statutory and audit reporting.
• Assist in variance analysis and commentary on financial results.
• Ensure R2R activities comply with internal controls, accounting policies (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits with required documentation and participate in testing and monitoring of internal controls (SOX compliance, if applicable).
• Allocate tasks and monitor progress of junior R2R team members, provide guidance on complex accounting scenarios, and assist in training and onboarding.
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies or risks in R2R processes, recommend improvements, and support automation tools or ERP enhancements.
• Participate in R2R transformation or standardization projects.
• Liaise with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, business units and external stakeholders, ensuring accurate data flow across sub-ledgers and modules (AP, AR, FA).
• Participate actively in management trainee programs and cross-functional projects, learning best practices in corporate finance and leadership.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or Master's degree in Finance.
• Required skills: Accounting, Banking Capital Markets, Client Relations, Collaboration Tools, Compliance Risk Management, Financial Analysis Reporting, Intercompany Accounting, Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems, Record To Report (R2R), Risk Management, SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Security/GRC.
• English language proficiency: Proficient, C2.

Nice to have

• Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) certification.
• Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification.
