FSP Contract Specialist

Overview

Manage site contract preparation, negotiation, risk analysis, and finalization for clinical study agreements. The role coordinates with sites and internal teams to support timely site activation.

What you'll do

• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize study-site agreements.
• Negotiate investigator grant budgets and contractual terms within approved parameters.
• Assess legal, financial, and operational risks and escalate issues.
• Coordinate site-startup activities with internal functional departments.
• Align contract negotiations with site-activation timelines.
• Provide recommendations and alternative resolutions for contract negotiations.
• Achieve target cycle times for site activations.

What you'll need

• 2–5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and directly related experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal academic or vocational qualification.
• Understanding of contract law and laws affecting contract language.
• Ability to draft and negotiate contract provisions and budgetary issues within defined parameters.
• Understanding of business and financial principles related to service agreements.
• English and local-language verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical product development and CRO involvement.
