Full Stack Engineer

Overview

Full Stack Engineer responsible for developing end-to-end PHP features spanning web experiences, backend services, AWS integrations, Java/Spring Boot services, and application support.

What you'll do

• Implement backend and web-tier features in PHP 8.x using Laravel or Symfony.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs for subscriber, catalogue, metadata, and workflow capabilities.
• Develop integrations with AWS managed services and asynchronous workloads.
• Create unit and integration tests and maintain static-analysis standards.
• Integrate PHP applications with Java/Spring Boot services using API contracts.
• Triage production defects, perform root-cause analysis, and support deployments.
• Participate in on-call or shift-based support rotations as required.

What you'll need

• At least 7.5 years of experience is required.
• Three to four years of hands-on backend development, including two years with PHP 7.4 or PHP 8.x.
• Production experience with Laravel or Symfony, including ORM, queues, events, and migrations.
• Experience with PHPUnit or Pest, PHPStan or Psalm, Composer, and PHP coding standards.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills.
• Working knowledge of at least four AWS services in development.
• Production experience integrating PHP applications with Java-based services.

Nice to have

• Exposure to OTT, streaming, broadcast, or digital media platforms.
• Experience with Java/Spring Boot coding, gRPC, Kafka, Redis, infrastructure as code, or observability tools.
• Front-end familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript, Vue, React, Blade, or Twig.
