Overview
Senior Full Stack Engineer for the Core Services department working on Classic and Next Gen CRIMS client application.
What you'll do
- Analyze, design, develop, test, and debug large and complex software enhancements and solutions.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Managers to create working, sustainable software.
- Develop and implement cloud computing-based software using Java and React, plus related technologies.
- Provide guidance during code reviews and critical analysis of proposed changes.
- Write unit and automation tests and conduct manual tests to ensure product quality.
- Support agile execution by attending daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
What you'll need
- Minimum 9+ years of progressively responsible professional software engineering experience in core and enterprise Java.
- Experience with collections API, concurrency, multithreading, JDBC, and web services.
- 5+ years designing and developing software solutions in highly transactional, concurrent, event-driven systems.
- 5+ years of cloud-native application development in at least one cloud-native platform (preferably Microsoft Azure).
- 5+ years experience in Spring Boot, microservices, and Kafka, plus cloud databases.
- Extensive RDBMS experience (Oracle and SQL Server) and expertise writing complex, high-performing SQL.
- UI development experience in C#, React, and JavaScript is preferred.
