Lead Software Engineer

Overview

Lead Software Engineer responsible for analysis, design, testing, development, and maintenance of full-stack software experiences.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications.
• Build React-based UIs, APIs, and backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Lead modernization by migrating legacy/on-prem systems to cloud-native architectures on AWS/Azure.
• Develop scalable, secure APIs and microservices aligned with enterprise standards.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation for reliable deployments.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis to improve performance, reliability, and security.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Hands-on experience with React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs/microservices.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) including migration and integrations.
• Strong database expertise with Oracle or PostgreSQL (DDL/DML and performance tuning).
• Familiarity with DevOps/CI-CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Kubernetes, or Rancher.

Details

• Work location: Chennai, India.
• Shift timings: 11 AM - 8 PM.
• On-site requirement: 3 or more days per week from a U.S. Bank location.
