Staff Full-Stack Engineer

Overview

Staff Full-Stack Engineer for the Okta Workflows Flow builder team, building and maintaining end-to-end features across front-end and back-end.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end features using modern JavaScript and cloud-native technologies.
• Lead technical design for initiatives, focusing on quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Build reusable, performant UI components for a no-code builder experience.
• Own services across their lifecycle, including testing, deployment, observability, and incident response.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to define the “what” and “how” of features.
• Mentor and support engineers and contribute to architectural reviews and engineering practices.

What you'll need

• 8+ years building modern web applications in a full-stack environment.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript, ReactJS, and Node.js (Express or similar frameworks).
• Experience designing APIs and building robust services at scale in distributed, cloud-based architectures.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to partner with Product and Design to deliver enterprise-grade user experiences in an agile environment.

Nice to have

• Exposure to low-code/no-code tools, workflow engines, or visual development platforms.
• Interest in AI-assisted developer tooling or automation.

Details

• Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
• Work mode: Hybrid (2–3 days onsite per week) with in-person onboarding and travel to the Bengaluru office during the first week.
• Employment type: Full-time.
