Full Stack Engineer

Overview

Develop and engineer end-to-end system features, from user experience to backend code, delivering innovative solutions for clients in a cloud-first and agile environment.

What you'll do

• Manage LabVantage LIMS configuration initiatives, including requirements analysis, solution design, workflow configuration, integrations, and release support.
• Oversee the day-to-day activities of a small team.
• Provide technical ownership and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Mentor team members.
• Ensure quality and compliance across deliveries.
• Design, develop, and implement system features spanning user interface elements and backend functionalities.
• Design and implement robust APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and perform performance tuning of complex software applications.

What you'll need

• Minimum 7.5 years of experience in Laboratory Information and Execution Systems.
• 15 years full time education.
• Mandatory hands-on experience in LabVantage LIMS, Java, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in Laboratory Information and Execution Systems.
• Experience with front-end and back-end development frameworks and tools relevant to Laboratory Information and Execution Systems.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and agile software development methodologies.
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Familiarity with database management and optimization techniques within Laboratory Information and Execution Systems context.
• Skill in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of complex software applications.

Nice to have

• Experience working with chemical laboratories or a chemistry education background.
