Java Full Stack Developer

Overview

Work as a Java Full Stack Developer contributing to software development, application performance improvement, process improvement, and training newcomers or juniors in functional and technical knowledge.

What you'll do

• Train newcomers and juniors in functional and technical knowledge.
• Improve existing processes.
• Suggest or provide solutions to improve application performance wherever applicable.
• Develop using efficient build practices such as continuous integration and test-driven development.

What you'll need

• Graduate in any discipline, with Computer Science preferred.
• Good background in software development.
• Minimum IT experience of 7-10 years, preferably in Java/J2EE applications.
• Experience in Core Java, J2EE, and JUnit.
• Experience in web technologies, including Struts and Spring MVC.
• Knowledge of Angular.
• Experience with Hibernate and Spring.
• Exposure to performance tuning.
• Experience with JDBC.
• Experience with SQL queries, Transact-SQL, stored procedures, functions, and database modelling.
• Ability to collaborate and work in a team.
• Adaptability.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to deliver and be results driven.

Nice to have

• Experience in Agile, including Kanban or Scrum.
• Knowledge of web services, microservices, and Maven.
• Knowledge of Unix scripting as an added advantage.
