Full-stack Software Engineer (python/go)

Overview

Full-stack Software Engineer to build and maintain integrations between 3rd-party services and the Sauce Labs platform, including backend APIs and UI components.

What you'll do

• Extend and scale backend applications written in Python and Go
• Improve and contribute to an agile development culture
• Collaborate with other teams to build the platform
• Participate in on-call rotations to troubleshoot urgent customer-facing issues
• Work on UI components for integrations

What you'll need

• 3 - 5 years of experience
• Experience with Golang and Python
• Experience working with external APIs and their documentation
• Experience writing customer-facing documentation
• Ability to design new APIs following company standards
• Experience with CI/CD and Docker
• Experience with message queues

Nice to have

• Experience with ReactJS
• Experience with other programming languages
• Experience with high-volatility (startup) and larger organization environments
• Good understanding of relational and non-relational databases
• Experience with observability and monitoring
• Experience with Jenkins
