Fullstack Developer

Overview

Full-stack developer role focused on building and maintaining microservices and related application components.

What you'll do

• Build, deploy, and maintain microservices.
• Use Docker to create reproducible build and deployment pipelines.
• Integrate search and logging/analysis using Elastic Search and ELK.
• Read explain plans, tune SQL queries, and profile applications.
• Analyze heap and thread dumps.
• Automate repetitive tasks.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience as a full-stack developer.
• Hands-on experience with Java 8.
• Microservice and Docker experience.
• Knowledge of JMS (Active MQ, Kafka, or Rabbit MQ) and Apache Camel.
• Strong NoSQL database knowledge (MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Strong SQL knowledge (Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB).
• Spring and Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Cloud experience.
• AngularJS or ReactJS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• ORM experience with Hibernate or JPA.
• Familiarity with Linux operating system.
• Experience with or interest in Agile/Scrum.
• Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) and continuous integration (CI).
• Experience deploying microservices on AWS, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, OpenShift, or PCF.
• Good knowledge of the ELK stack.
