FullStack Developer

Overview

Design, develop and improve software that provides business, platform and technology capabilities for customers and colleagues, spearheading the evolution of infrastructure and deployment pipelines.

What you'll do

• Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks and tools.
• Ensure code is scalable, maintainable and optimized for performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization's technology communities.
• Adhere to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
• Implement effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability and reliability.
• Advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development and take responsibility for operational effectiveness.
• Lead a team performing complex tasks, set objectives and coach employees in pursuit of those objectives.
• Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies and procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
• Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.
• Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources and communicate complex information to stakeholders.

What you'll need

• Hands-on GenAI engineering experience covering LLM integration, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector stores, evaluation, guardrails and agentic workflows.
• Cloud-native and DevSecOps delivery experience using microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, resilience and secure engineering.
• Full-stack engineering experience using either Python (FastAPI/Django) or Java (Spring Boot), plus React/Angular/TypeScript, APIs, databases and automated testing.

Nice to have

• AI orchestration frameworks across Python or Java, including LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, Spring AI or LangChain4j.
• MLOps / LLMOps, including prompt and model versioning, evaluation automation, monitoring, performance and cost optimisation.
• Financial services or payments experience, enterprise integration, event-driven architecture, responsible AI and regulatory controls.
