What you'll do
- Develop deep functional expertise in OMS workflows, integrations, and business processes.
- Translate business requirements and user stories into test scenarios covering functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Define and drive the overall test automation strategy, standards, and roadmap.
- Design, develop, and maintain UI automation frameworks using Playwright and API test automation solutions.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and developers to ensure effective test planning and coverage.
- Review and enhance automation suites to improve reliability, scalability, and CI/CD effectiveness.
- Implement risk-based testing approaches for releases, hotfixes, and production support.
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted testing tools to improve automation productivity and quality.
- Analyze defects, identify test coverage gaps, and continuously improve product quality metrics.
- Define best practices for using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude and Kiro to design test scenarios, generate automated tests, and improve existing test suites.
- Establish reusable prompt patterns, workflows, and review guidelines to ensure AI-generated tests are functionally correct, meaningful, maintainable, and consistent with engineering standards.
- Drive workflows that translate user stories and acceptance criteria into test scenarios, generate automated test cases, and integrate them into the existing execution pipeline.
- Ensure AI-generated tests are reviewed and validated against requirements rather than accepted solely on the basis of successful execution.
- Measure the impact of AI-assisted testing on test authoring time, automation throughput, coverage, and defect detection.
- Share effective practices and enable developers to use AI tools consistently across the engineering organisation.
