Fund Accounting Analyst 1 – C09

Overview

Support fund accounting and financial reporting for hedge funds or mutual funds, including preparation and review of financial statements and regulatory reports.

What you'll do

• Prepare and review balance sheets, P&L statements, schedules of investment, cash flows and notes to accounts.
• Apply US GAAP, IFRS, Lux GAAP and Irish GAAP requirements.
• Act as a subject matter expert for the team.
• Support performance data updates, trackers and KPIs.
• Document processes and prepare SOPs.
• Train new team members and support continuous quality improvement.
• Meet SLAs and work flexible shifts as required.

What you'll need

• 4–6 years of experience in fund accounting or financial reporting for hedge funds or mutual funds.
• Knowledge of capital markets and fund accounting.
• Understanding of derivatives, equities and fixed-income securities.
• Experience with capital-markets back-office processes in a BPO or captive environment.
• B.Com, M.Com or a postgraduate degree in accounting or finance.
• Good communication, interpersonal and domain skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.

Nice to have

• Experience setting up or migrating processes from onshore teams.
• CA, CFA or CPA qualification.
