Associate, India controllers and Financial & Prudential Reporting

Overview

Associate role in BlackRock’s India Controller’s and Financial & Prudential Reporting (FPR) team, supporting financial accounting and compliance reporting for India entities.

What you'll do

• Lead and support India legal entity accounting, financial close, and statutory/regulatory reporting delivery.
• Prepare, review, and submit statutory and regulatory financial statements and surveys under applicable standards and regulations.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities, including audit support delivery and query resolution.
• Support and maintain internal control environment aligned to SOX/ICoFAR and corporate policies.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements and support implementation across reporting and control processes.
• Drive standardization, documentation, and automation of reporting processes, partnering with Technology to enhance data and controls.

What you'll need

• Chartered Accountant qualification (experience in global asset management preferred).
• 4+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of Ind AS, the Companies Act, and Companies/Regulatory compliance (MCA/RBI).
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Ability to manage multiple deadline-driven deliverables with accuracy and quality.
• Familiarity with Oracle ERP/general ledger, consolidation, and reporting tools is preferred.

• Hybrid work model: work at least 4 days in the office per week and work from home 1 day a week.
