Fund Accounting Senior Supervisor

Overview

Fund Accounting Senior Supervisor in the middle office operations team, providing performance calculation and attribution analysis for clients in the region and leading the team that produces and validates performance returns, risk and attribution reports.

What you'll do

• Produce, review and validate portfolio account performance calculations and performance reports for accounts, composites and managers.
• Create customized reporting based on client requirements; maintain, produce and review client composites according to SLAs.
• Provide scheduled and ad-hoc reports or MIS to management as required.
• Review, update and implement new processes and procedures to enhance operational controls.
• Monitor work activities to ensure timeliness and accuracy of performance reporting, including attribution analysis at fund and security level.
• Assist in preparing performance reports using applications such as FactSet.
• Interface with performance and index vendors.
• Resolve data issues using accounting systems and understand the flow between accounting and performance systems.
• Serve as the Senior Checker for complex tasks.
• Participate in department projects, ensure their completion, and assist new clients with onboarding and implementation.
• Maintain KPIs and report all MIS for operations, and manage the team.
• Work closely with onshore counterparts to establish global operating models and processes.

What you'll need

• 9+ years of experience in performance measurement operations, or experience with account/security level performance in a related field.
• Familiarity with or understanding of segment, security and attribution performance reporting.
• Familiarity with or understanding of Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS).
• Master's degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Proficient in people management and conflict management.
• Proficiency with Excel (macros, pivot tables etc.).
• Attention to detail, proven problem-solving skills, effective time management, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, outstanding organizational skills, and a proven ability to multi-task.
• Initiative in self development, works well under pressure, and is a team player.

Nice to have

• Performance system experience with FactSet or Morningstar.
• Pursuing or completed CIPM, CFA or FRM (preference, not mandatory).

Details

• Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India.
• Full-time, rotating shift; flexibility to work in all shifts is required.
• No travel; no relocation.
