GCP Data Architect

Overview

GCP Data Architect responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Google Cloud (GCP) data architecture.

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, cost-effective cloud-based data architectures on GCP.
• Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Design and implement big data processing solutions for large datasets using Spark and Hadoop.
• Establish and enforce data governance policies for quality, security, compliance, and metadata.
• Build and optimize data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and loading.
• Monitor and tune data systems for performance, availability, and reliability.

What you'll need

• In-depth knowledge of GCP data services including BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud DataProc, Cloud Run, and Cloud Composer.
• Expertise in data modeling techniques and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Spark and Hadoop.
• Understanding of data quality, security, compliance, and metadata management.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and DBT (Data Build Tool).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data, or related (or equivalent work experience) required.
