GCP Data Engineer-LBG

Overview

Java Microservices Developer role based in Bangalore, focused on backend development with microservices and Kafka, and cloud experience.

What you'll do

• Design and develop technical solutions based on business and functional requirements and technical specifications.
• Identify opportunities for application and process improvement and secure buy-in from global stakeholders.
• Share and report risks, issues, challenges, blockers, and forthcoming tasks with stakeholders and the team.
• Lead and manage technical aspects of API framework design and development.
• Handle production incidents and RCA for delivered features.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience in backend development with a focus on Java, microservices, and Kafka.
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot, including microservices.
• Expected knowledge of Kafka and basic knowledge of databases.
• Experience with TDD and BDD.
• Must have experience with one cloud: GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containers.
• Knowledge of SOAP and REST web services.

Nice to have

• CI/CD tools and practices (Jenkins, GitLab).
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of Kafka.
• Workflows such as Camunda BPM.
