GCP Infrastructure Engineer

Overview

Design, develop, and operate GCP infrastructure while creating testing strategies and improving software quality and reliability.

What you'll do

• Deploy, configure, and operate GCP services at scale.
• Write and manage Terraform infrastructure code for complex cloud environments.
• Set up GitLab pipelines for infrastructure provisioning, testing, and deployment.
• Configure and troubleshoot GCP cloud environments.
• Develop and execute test plans and automated test scripts.
• Analyse defects, perform root cause analysis, and support resolution.
• Collaborate on requirements, design discussions, code reviews, and acceptance criteria.

What you'll need

• Hands-on experience with GCP networking, IAM, monitoring, and resource management.
• Proficiency with Terraform, including modularization and state management.
• Experience integrating Terraform with CI/CD.
• Experience using GitLab for automated infrastructure workflows.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting GCP environments.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate complex information.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of GCP cloud security and compliance best practices.
• Python coding skills.
• Multi-cloud experience with AWS or Azure.
• GCP certification.
