AI Platform Engineer

Overview

Lead engineering and development for the SOLD Simplification initiative as an AI Platform Engineer. Coordinate requirements discovery, delivery planning, roadmap development, and stakeholder management.

What you'll do

• Lead engineering teams and provide technical guidance and mentorship.
• Lead the overall engineering and development of the SOLD Simplification initiative.
• Coordinate requirements discovery and initiative delivery planning.
• Manage roadmaps and stakeholder relationships.
• Oversee timelines, team allocation, risks, and task prioritization.
• Improve engineering processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Enforce technology standards, peer reviews, and robust testing practices.

What you'll need

• Experience in SOLD Simplification.
• Experience with Azure cloud platform engineering.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containerisation, and Terraform or Bicep.
• Experience building scalable services, APIs, and integration frameworks using Python and/or Java.
• Experience deploying and operationalising LLMs and managing model lifecycles.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, secrets management, and vulnerability remediation.
• Experience leading engineering teams and managing technical delivery.

Nice to have

• Financial services domain knowledge in payments, cash management, liquidity, treasury, or transaction banking.
• Data engineering and analytics experience, including RAG architectures.
• AI governance and risk management experience.
• SRE and platform operations experience.
