GenAI Developer

Overview

Gen AI Developer role within the TTS Analytics team at Citi, focused on building and operating generative AI and deep learning solutions for business clients.

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and scale production-grade AI applications end-to-end.
• Own requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support for AI-powered products.
• Apply GenAI techniques such as prompt engineering, RAG, and fine-tuning to practical problems.
• Work with multiple data sources (e.g., emails/call transcripts, client profile/engagement, transactions/revenue, digital data) to produce insights.
• Collaborate with product, business, operations, and data teams to translate ambiguous problems into capabilities.
• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and runbooks; participate in design and code reviews.

What you'll need

• 5 to 8 years relevant experience in data science (ML and DL) combined with GenAI solution experience (2 years).
• Experience shipping AI-enabled products to production in an agile environment.
• Substantial experience identifying and resolving client experience and operations business problems (preferably in financial services).
• Hands-on with LLMs and transformer architectures, including prompt engineering and system prompt design.
• Experience with RAG components such as embeddings, vector indexes, chunking strategies, and retrieval evaluation.
• Experience with model customization including fine-tuning/LoRA/PEFT and experiment tracking for reproducibility.
• Experience with frameworks/tooling and serving, including PyTorch/TensorFlow, Hugging Face, and inference optimization.
