GFCT Business Control Unit, AVP

Overview

AVP role in the GFCT Business Control Unit, extending the onshore Global GFCT Business Management & Control team. Focused on monitoring, managing, and mitigating FIC Operational Risk.

What you'll do

• Operate and oversee GFCT Business Control Unit controls, including client interaction inventory review and book access controls.
• Manage Front Office operational risk topics such as operational/financial integrity issues, self-identified issues, audit findings, and compliance testing findings.
• Review and validate trader mandates, including trader mandate breach review and exception reports.
• Run various BAU controls such as marketing materials & pitchbook controls, client complaints controls, and information barrier controls.
• Provide analytical support for BCU team and senior management decision-making.
• Support risk and control self-assessment and participate in governance forums with pre-, meeting, and post-meeting assistance.

What you'll need

• MBA in Finance or CA with relevant experience.
• 4–7 years of work experience in banking domain on regulatory projects, operational risk management, and/or audit of controls.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
• Experience conducting and driving meetings with senior stakeholders.
• Strong computer skills with high-volume data handling, database management, and Excel.
• Advanced exposure to Word and PowerPoint is required.
