GIS Automation Testing - Associate

Overview

GIS Automation Testing - Associate role focused on client support within a Maximo Consulting framework, using GIS testing and automation to support field service and operations modernization.

What you'll do

• Review functional and technical requirements to identify test scenarios and test cases.
• Develop and document GIS test plans, strategies, and test cases across desktop, web, and mobile as needed.
• Work with the DB team to review data QA and acceptance criteria.
• Plan and execute test cases with testing COE and test teams, including building GIS test scripts.
• Build GIS test automation for functional scenarios in desktop and web environments.
• Conduct ST, SIT, and facilitate UAT, including defect management and resolution.
• Provide go-live support for sanity testing and specific business scenarios.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years’ working experience with Esri ArcGIS software (Enterprise, Desktop, Server, ArcGIS Pro, Online).
• Understanding of ArcGIS Enterprise architecture and ArcGIS Server/Portal/data store concepts.
• Understanding of Utilities domain and Esri Utility Network.
• Understanding of ArcGIS Pro concepts (maps, projects, layout templates, editing templates, tasks).
• Familiarity with Esri geoprocessing tools including Model Builder.
• Basic GIS concepts including topology, connectivity, utility network, and projection systems.
• Knowledge of data geodatabases (e.g., versioning and spatial data types) and testing/performance tools (e.g., PerfQAAnalyzer, ArcGIS Monitor).

Nice to have

• Experience in GIS testing assignments.
• Experience working in the Utilities domain with added knowledge for Electric or Gas.
• Knowledge of Esri Utility Network core principles (subnetwork, associations, containment, tracing).
• Proven knowledge of database design and PL/SQL (queries, stored procedures, triggers).
• Experience with Agile methodology and Jira.
