Overview

Global Fabric Cleaning Powders Senior R&D Associate in Unilever's Home Care R&D group, working on the Disruptive Ecodesign program for fabric cleaning powders.

What you'll do

• Conceptualise and validate formulations based on combinations of technologies to deliver radical Disruptive Ecodesign chassis in Powders in key cells, linking consumer and technical insights.
• Integrate technologies into robust chassis design, working hands-on on technology development.
• Work with technology teams (GDC and S&T), the processing team and project leaders in Business Units to ensure the journey of new technologies to consumer implementation is robust.
• Work closely with broader teams across different BUs and all R&D functions (S&T, Appraisal, Claims, Processing, Safety).

What you'll need

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, or Master's in Physics or Chemistry from a reputed institute.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn and apply new Science & Technology areas.
• Resilience to challenges and consistent focus on the goal.
• Ability to conceptualize, design and execute experiments and rationalize results.
• Ability to interpret complex datasets, data visualization (JMP/BI/Excel) and data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to engage with a range of stakeholders with flexibility in influencing styles.

Nice to have

• Preferably 3+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of surfactant, interfacial and colloid science.
