Global Leader - Category Sourcing 2

Overview

Lead the design, implementation and monitoring of organization-wide procurement policies, systems and reporting, and build data analytics and training capability for the global sourcing function.

What you'll do

• Design, implement and monitor organization-wide policies and procedures for the procurement function in line with organization objectives.
• Contribute to the design, implementation and maintenance of procurement systems and tools (ERP and process mining/data analytics) to enhance control environment and process efficiency.
• Oversee, develop and implement internal training content to raise awareness of ERP tooling and processes supporting global sourcing activities.
• Design functional metrics and develop tools for measurement and reporting, carrying out all reporting requirements accurately and on time.
• Develop data analytics tools and provide data insights to management dashboard reporting on Power BI (or similar).
• Work with cross-functional teams to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of organizational processes.
• Identify development opportunities in Reporting and MIS processes.
• Lead organizational processes to the next level by innovating, benchmarking and reengineering business processes.
• Support multiple end-to-end projects in parallel, focusing on data accuracy and quality of output to clients and business stakeholders.
• Build and maintain effective business stakeholder, partner and supplier relationships to assure successful business performance.

What you'll need

• B.Tech, MBA or equivalent qualification.
• Relevant years of experience in Reporting/MIS/Compliance for a large organization's procurement function.
• Working knowledge of ERPs (Oracle, Workday, SAP Ariba) and understanding of organization application architecture.
• Hands-on experience in BI/Process Mining and Office (MS Excel, Access, SharePoint etc.) in providing solutions to business problems.
• Experience developing methodology for data collection, transformation and presentation using multiple sources and BI tools.
• Required skills: Category Management, Data Analytics, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), People Leadership, Project Management, Risk Management, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Collaboration, Supplier Relationship Management, Supply Chain Planning (SCP).
• Proficient English (C2) (required).

Nice to have

• Previous team management experience.
• Experience in system implementation projects (procurement systems/P2P solutions).
• Exposure to ML and AI.
• Experience in handling sourcing processes, business operations, risk assessment, audit, process reengineering or automation.
• Personal effectiveness; energetic and self-motivated; ability to deploy influencing techniques and lead change.
• Analytical and financial skills; ability to work in a matrix team environment and lead a diverse team.
• Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Business Management, Procurement and/or Supply Chain management.
• Additional languages.
• Certifications: CISA (ICAI), CRISC (ISACA), CRP (Udemy).
