Global payroll management - Associate, CSS HR

Overview

Associate role in global payroll operations under Hitachi CSS HR, supporting UK/region-specific payroll administration and employee payroll queries.

What you'll do

• Process payroll for employees and ensure compliance with UK regulations.
• Run regular and off-cycle payroll and distribute payments.
• Maintain accurate payroll records including hours, deductions, and bonuses.
• Calculate and administer statutory payments such as sick pay, maternity pay, and pensions.
• Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Prepare payroll reports for management and finance.
• Support year-end processes including P60, PSA, and P11D preparation.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in UK payroll process.
• Comply with relevant UK tax regulations including PAYE and National Insurance.
• Experience administering payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, taxes, and deductions.
• End-to-end knowledge of UK legislation and statutory compliance.
• Experience processing payroll in ADP.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
