KYC Representative - Japanese Specialist

Overview

Japanese Language Specialist for KYC operations, reviewing Japanese/English customer documentation and supporting KYC compliance processes.

What you'll do

• Review applicant information and documents in Japanese and English using internal systems and regulatory tools.
• Translate and interpret customer documents to support KYC compliance checks.
• Approve, decline, or request additional documentation based on internal guidelines.
• Conduct periodic reviews for existing customers and look for unusual patterns or inconsistencies.
• Escalate potential risks or discrepancies to the Team Lead or Supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records while following regulatory and internal compliance standards.

What you'll need

• 2–5 years of experience.
• Strong Japanese reading and writing proficiency, including Kanji & Kana.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Experience working with Japanese documentation or clients (must).
• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).
