Overview
HR Generalist role supporting the full employee lifecycle across multiple APAC countries in a fully remote setup.
What you'll do
- Act as the primary HR partner for employees and managers across APAC.
- Support onboarding, development, performance management, and offboarding.
- Ensure HR processes comply with local labor laws across APAC jurisdictions.
- Manage employee records in the HRIS and maintain data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including interview scheduling and candidate communication.
- Prepare performance review materials and support managers during review cycles.
- Partner with payroll providers and finance for accurate payroll administration.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of core HR functions (recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR operations).
- Knowledge of employment legislation in at least one APAC country (e.g., Philippines, India, Japan, Australia, or New Zealand).
- Experience working with HRIS platforms and Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365, especially Excel for reporting and HR analytics.
- Fluent written and verbal English communication.
Nice to have
- Fluency in an additional APAC language.
- Experience supporting regional or international HR operations.
- Exposure to fast-growing SaaS or technology companies.
- Strong analytical mindset using HR data for decision-making.
