HR Generalist

Overview

Support day-to-day HR operations across India and provide operational support for U.S. HR needs. Partner with the global People Operations team on compliant processes, recruiting, and onboarding.

What you'll do

• Support onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, background checks, and systems access.
• Maintain and audit employee records in HR systems.
• Manage time-off tracking, attendance, and leave administration.
• Coordinate recruiting activities, interviews, candidate communication, and ATS tracking.
• Support payroll inputs, audits, and coordination with Finance.
• Support performance management cycles, engagement initiatives, and HR technology rollouts.
• Maintain the internal Notion-based People Operations hub.

What you'll need

• 3–5 years of experience in HR operations or HR generalist roles.
• Experience supporting recruiting or working with Talent Acquisition teams.
• Strong knowledge of Indian employment laws and HR best practices.
• Experience with HR systems and tools such as Ashby, Rippling, Notion, or Excel.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with U.S. HR practices.
• Experience supporting or driving IIT hiring.
