Global Software Support Engineer

Overview

Provide software support for Applied Materials equipment applications and systems, resolving customer issues and contributing to software development and documentation.

What you'll do

• Analyze and resolve equipment software application and systems issues.
• Investigate customer high-value problems, systemic bugs, and software failures.
• Provide customer support through the software ticketing system.
• Report updates on key customer software issues to stakeholders.
• Create, test, and verify software change notifications and key feature procedures.
• Contribute to software specifications, design, testing, and documentation reviews.
• Assist with training junior engineers and detailed product operation.

What you'll need

• 4–8 years of experience.
• Expanded conceptual knowledge in the relevant discipline.
• Ability to solve straightforward technical problems using experience and judgment.
• Ability to explain complex information in straightforward situations.

Details

• Location: Bangalore, India.
• Full-time employment.
• Travel: 50% of the time.
• Relocation to Dholera, Gujarat, expected after approximately 1 to 1.5 years.
