Grad Intern – Data Scientist – Amgen’s Technology & Medical Organizations (Summer 2027)

Overview

Grad Intern – Data Scientist (Summer 2027) is an internship focused on gaining hands-on experience extracting insights from large volumes of data and building predictive models.

What you'll do

• Execute and analyze data analysis and modeling projects from design and processing of data.
• Test new statistical analysis methods, software, and data sources to improve quantitative solutions.
• Develop ways for scientists to use data from multiple sources.
• Build automated capability to convert unstructured data into structured content for analysis and modeling.

What you'll need

• Be available to work a full-time schedule during the internship.
• Be enrolled in an accredited college or university and continue enrollment after the internship.
• Be located in the United States for the duration of the internship.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Be currently enrolled in an MBA, Master’s, PharmD, or Ph.D. program and have completed the first year before the internship starts.

Nice to have

• In the process of completing the first year of a Master’s program with concentration in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Have 1 or more years of relevant work experience.
• Be proficient in one of Python, Java, Scala, or SQL.

Details

• Location: United States – Remote.
• Base pay range (U.S.): $35.34–$41.20 per hour.
