Guidewire Developer

Overview

Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer responsible for designing, building, testing, and delivering software solutions across Guidewire PolicyCenter and related Java technologies.

What you'll do

• Design, build, test, and deliver application code.
• Lead end-to-end solutions across Guidewire PolicyCenter, Java, Spring, Spring Boot, integrations, and JPA.
• Provide technical leadership in Scrum teams and uphold application architecture.
• Address technical issues and risks affecting schedules or budgets.
• Mentor team members on development guidelines and best practices.
• Build and implement continuous integration and continuous delivery capabilities.
• Drive technology decisions, engineering practices, and innovation for customer solutions.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree.
• 6–9 years of application software solution development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Java and J2EE technologies.
• 6–9 years of experience building SOAP and REST APIs or web services.
• Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter integration.
• Experience with containerization and file-formatting APIs such as Aspose.
• Experience with mainframe integration, application servers, and web servers.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Agile methodology.
• Experience with continuous integration and DevOps tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Rally, SonarQube, and Liquibase.
