Overview

Design and develop mechanical or electrical hardware for semiconductor equipment, using CAD tools, engineering drawings, and design documentation to support manufacturable, reliable products.

What you'll do

Create CAD models and detailed engineering drawings for complex parts and assemblies.
Implement design changes addressing supplier builds and problem reports.
Develop Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams and multi-CAD layouts.
Select OEM and commercially available parts based on design requirements.
Release drawings and bills of materials through Engineering Change Management.
Create cable, electrical, and pneumatic harness designs and interconnect documentation.
Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams on verification and design reviews.

What you'll need

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with no previous professional experience, or equivalent experience.
Proficiency with 3D CAD tools such as CREO, Siemens NX, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks.
Knowledge of mechanical component design, engineering drawings, and manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of GD&T, welding symbols, surface finish, and ASME drafting standards.
Experience with cable harnesses, schematics, and interconnect tools such as E3 Zuken, Ideas, or PCAD.
Understanding of design standards such as UL 508, IEC, SEMI, or IPC 620.
