Hardware System IVV Lead Engineer for Thales India Engineering Competency Center in Bangalore, supporting system integration, verification, and validation of flight avionics products.

What you'll do

• Lead System IVV engineering activities for compliance against system requirements and architecture.
• Develop IVV procedures/approaches.
• Validate system requirements and support integration/verification of avionics equipment.
• Design, execute, and analyze tests for functionality and performance per specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Set up test benches and simulation environments for avionics platform integration.
• Document test results and report findings to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with aeronautical safety/quality standards and continuously improve IVV processes.

What you'll need

• 8-12 years of relevant experience in aeronautics.
• B.E./B.Tech or Masters in Electronics Engineering.
• Experience in system/hardware/software IVV for critical avionics systems.
• Software development skills in C for test applications.
• Knowledge of physical interfaces including digital buses and analog interfaces (e.g., A429, A818, LVDS, RS-485, Ethernet/A664).
• Experience using measurement/monitoring devices such as generators, oscilloscopes, and bus analyzers.
• Knowledge of aeronautical standards and regulations including DO-178C and DO-254.
