HCM Business Advisory Senior Analyst, AVP

Overview

HCM Business Advisory Senior Analyst (AVP) providing operational and advisory HR support to the UK Business Advisory Centre, delivering timely, consistent and well-governed HR services for the UKI.

What you'll do

• Responsibility for the delivery of HR Services for the UKI.
• Provide operational and advisory support across a broad portfolio of HR activities, including Occupational Health and absence management, flexible working applications, international assignments, rehire governance, replacement contract administration, Working Time Regulations and management information reporting.
• Support key year-end activities, including performance, compensation and promotion processes, as well as audit requirements.
• Help the team manage increasing operational demand and the transition of additional advisory support activities, maintaining effective service delivery and providing timely, high-quality support to UK Business Advisory and Business Partner stakeholders.
• Apply sound judgement when handling nuanced matters and identifying potential risks.
• Work closely with the UK Business Advisory team to understand the relevant context, obtain guidance and escalate matters appropriately.
• Provide managerial support and oversight to the wider team, helping to maintain performance, accountability and the timely delivery of key priorities.

What you'll need

• Minimum 10 years of experience in HR shared services and advisory functions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills and experience in troubleshooting complex issues across HR functions.
• Good working knowledge of HCM systems, including Workday and ServiceNow, together with excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
