Overview
Build and run Anthropic’s APAC Corporate Accounting function as the senior Controllership role for Asia Pacific.
What you'll do
- Own APAC corporate accounting end to end, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and control of regional financial reporting.
- Own statutory financial statements, local audits, board reporting, and corporate secretarial filings for all APAC legal entities.
- Be accountable for APAC month-end close and consolidation into the global group, including journals and reconciliations.
- Run regional intercompany and transfer pricing execution in partnership with global Tax.
- Deliver international payroll and procure-to-pay for APAC in partnership with global functional leads.
- Design and operate the regional internal control framework and drive automation using Claude and AI tooling.
What you'll need
- 15+ years of progressive accounting and controllership experience, including 5+ years as a regional or group controller.
- Be a qualified accountant (CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
- Own statutory accounting and external audit at a regional or group level plus at least ஒன்று of: international payroll, procure to pay, or finance systems.
- Have deep knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS and working knowledge of local statutory/regulatory frameworks across multiple APAC jurisdictions.
- Be proficient with enterprise ERP and finance systems (e.g., NetSuite, Workday Financials, SAP, Oracle).

- Hybrid policy: expected to be in one of the offices at least 25% of the time.
- Visa sponsorship is available for some roles and candidates.
- Reports to the Head of International Accounting in Dublin.
