Overview
Management Trainee Payroll Specialist (HRO) responsible for end-to-end, compliant payroll processing across assigned countries or business units.
What you'll do
- Process payroll on a monthly/weekly/bi-weekly schedule with accuracy and adherence to statutory and organizational timelines.
- Validate payroll inputs including new hires, terminations, promotions, variable pay, deductions, and benefits.
- Perform payroll reconciliation and variance analysis prior to final submission.
- Ensure compliance with country-specific labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory filings.
- Liaisons with HR, Finance, and external payroll vendors for payroll execution, reconciliation, funding, bank files, and GL postings.
- Maintain payroll records and support internal/external audits.
- Prepare monthly payroll reports, dashboards, and analytics for headcount cost trends and accuracy KPIs.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, or Finance, or a Master’s in Business Administration or Business Analytics.
- Payroll certification preferred (examples listed include APA: CPP/FPA, HMRC (UK), Certificate!V (Australia), Global Payroll Certification).
- Advanced (C1) English language proficiency.
- High attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive data.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
