Head of Finance Operations

Overview

Head of Finance Operations to lead end-to-end finance operations (receivable, credit control, billing, accounts payable, and banking) and drive process and systems improvements during finance transformation.

What you'll do

• Build and lead a finance operations team with clear accountability for billing, receivables ageing, cash collection metrics, and payments accuracy.
• Set and ensure ownership of performance KPIs and SLAs for billing and collections.
• Lead process improvement initiatives across billing, accounts receivable, and finance operations aligned to finance transformation.
• Drive automation and process/system improvements using AI tools in collaboration with finance systems and projects teams.
• Own ERP master data management for customers and billing structures and maintain data quality.
• Ensure adherence to finance policies, internal controls, and audit requirements, improving where needed.
• Provide liaison support between finance operations and commercial teams for communications and accountabilities.

What you'll need

• Managed end-to-end finance operations including receivable, credit control, billing, accounts payable, and banking.
• Experience leading finance operations teams and managing stakeholders across geographies.
• Experience working on process and system transformation delivering tangible benefits.
• Familiarity with industry standards for billing, cash collection, payments, and cash management.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.
• ERP experience, with PeopleSoft preferred.
• Professional qualification in Finance and Accounting.
