HR Business Partner - Specialist

Overview

Strategic HR Business Partner role supporting leadership at Equifax, aligning HR and business strategy and improving business outcomes through talent optimization.

What you'll do

• Leverage specialized depth of HR knowledge to provide strategic consultation with key stakeholders and leaders, often around areas of significant scope and complexity.
• Partner with the leadership team or other senior leaders to align HR and business strategy, identify Human Capital opportunities, and improve business outcomes through talent optimization.
• Lead change management and workforce planning efforts with support and direction from the COE.
• Implement and execute HR programs and initiatives.
• Serve as the escalation point for HR-related BU/COE issues.
• Mentor other team members.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience as a HR Business Partner, which may include experience within Talent Management or other HR related areas that include a high degree of collaboration, partnership, business understanding and strategic alignment.
• Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience with compensation planning, organizational design, employee relations, employee development, performance management and general employment laws.
• Highly skilled in managing competing deadlines, influencing at all levels (P3: most levels), exercising sound judgement and effectively managing conflict.
• Intuitively influences positively and manages conflict with approachability, tactfulness, sound judgment and discretion.
• Ability to influence others.
• Ability to develop, attract and assess talent.

Nice to have

• MBA or advanced degree.
• SHRM Certification / PHR / SPHR.
• Experience working in Financial Services and/or Technology industries.
• Experience working with Global and/or heavily matrixed organizations.
• Experience with Google Workspace tools.
• Experience with HRIS like Workday.
