HSE Lead

Overview

HSE Lead to anchor and manage HSSE activities at a dedicated site, leading health, safety, security, and environment protocols in line with local statutory requirements and Maersk Global HSSE processes.

What you'll do

• Lead and manage HSSE-related activities for the site operations.
• Advise the business on strategizing and implementing HSSE protocols.
• Ensure safe working practices, drive the Zero Incident HSE programme, and eliminate unsafe conditions.
• Implement, monitor, and maintain site HSE policies and guidelines.
• Prepare and implement Emergency Response Plans (ERP).
• Conduct safety inspections, maintain HSE statistics, and support incident/accident investigations.

What you'll need

• 3–4 years of industry experience with a minimum of 2 years as an HSE professional.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and fire safety systems.
• Sound knowledge of local HSSE legislations relevant to logistics industry operations.
• Understanding of risk management principles and application of barriers and critical controls.
• Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety.
• Fluency in English and preference for local language spoken and written.
