HVAC Mobile Engineer

Overview

HVAC Mobile Engineer responsible for operating and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment for assigned properties on an HVAC mobile/mobile-site basis.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance across plumbing, electrical, and HVAC requirements for building(s).
• Maintain and monitor heating equipment, DX units, split systems, rooftop units, exhaust fans, pumps, and related air distribution systems.
• Monitor and adjust thermostats, diffusers, and other equipment to maintain comfortable building conditions.
• Verify field conditions and perform repairs or adjustments as needed.
• Inspect mechanical equipment areas including fan rooms, motors, pumps, electric rooms, backup generators, fire pumps, sump pumps, and ejector pumps.
• Respond to emergency situations and customer concerns and document/repair activities to a supervisor.
• Complete safety training as scheduled and comply with codes, regulations, and safe work habits.

What you'll need

• EPA 608 Certification is required.
• 5+ years of related work experience operating mechanical, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems in a commercial property setting.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance including filter changes and cleaning coils/condensers as directed.
• Appropriate license/permit for the trade may be required (e.g., journeyman or city licenses).
• Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record (where applicable).
• High school diploma or GED equivalent; graduate of an apprentice program or trade school is preferred.
