Implementation Analyst (IT Analyst)

Overview

Implementation Analyst (IT Analyst) supporting end-to-end implementations and deployments across software, infrastructure, digital transformation, and mergers, acquisitions and divestiture projects.

What you'll do

• Gather and analyze business requirements for assigned functional and technical areas.
• Work closely with business process teams, technical teams and other stakeholders to design and build objects which meet requirements.
• Document detailed designs of solutions.
• Support system configuration, data analysis and migration, and quality assurance and testing.
• Assist with defect management and issue resolution.
• Design training materials and conduct workshops to educate end-users on product features and ensure smooth adoption.
• Help ensure functional and technical designs meet business requirements, conform to Dow architecture standards, and optimize productivity and long-term product/system vision.
• Support infrastructure provisioning, configuration, data migration, testing, cutover and hypercare.
• Analyze error trends, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend effective long-term fixes.
• Coordinate software implementations, upgrades and testing phases.

What you'll need

• Bachelor degree in IT discipline, or a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts and build consensus.
• Good understanding and practical exposure to System Configuration, Data Analysis and Migration, and Quality Assurance and Testing.
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure, operating systems, networking, integrations and application development.
• Exceptional capability to translate highly technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and business users.
• Ability to coordinate software implementations, upgrades, and testing phases with minimal supervision.
