Overview

Implementation Specialist, Professional II role at Zebra Technologies focused on configuring and implementing product solutions for customers, working with J2EE/Java and N-Tier architectures.

What you'll do

• Participate in the implementation from a configuration perspective.
• Engage with the customer extensively to derive the value for them by using the product.
• Prepare functional and technical specification documents.
• Engage and interact with various Product Development teams to deliver agreed requirements.
• Research and examine the current application and find the scope for improvements.
• Generate and implement test scripts for unit testing the software piece.
• Test and modify systems to ensure they operate optimally.
• Potentially lead a team of implementation specialists for effective and smoother implementations.
• Build strategies and processes to implement product solutions quickly and efficiently.

What you'll need

• At least 3 years working with J2EE/Java and N-Tier architectures using various technologies like RDBMS and NoSQL.
• B.E./B.Tech degree (Full Time).
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to problem-solve to help produce great results.
• Ability to work in a rapidly-changing environment with shifting priorities and meet urgent operational deadlines.
• Ability to exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task to meet critical deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.
• Proven experience in the creation of requirements, design documents, and technical specifications.

Nice to have

• Experience of SQL writing with sound understanding and foundation of relational, NoSQL and dimensional modelling techniques.
• Ideally, participation in the Design or Implementation Phase of a SaaS product.
• Experience in configuring web applications, preferably WFM, T&A and Task Manager solutions.
