In Service Engineer- Cabin & Cargo Mechanical

Overview

In-Service Engineer for Cabin & Cargo Mechanical (ATA 25), supporting Airbus commercial aircraft customers with engineering queries, analyses, and onsite/virtual assistance.

What you'll do

• Answer daily customer engineering queries for Cabin & Cargo Mechanical equipment across the Airbus commercial fleet.
• Follow up with airlines/representatives and provide onsite or virtual technical assistance as needed.
• Assess technical concerns and ensure responses are delivered within defined time scales.
• Analyze reported in-service events/queries to identify potential impacts on safety, airworthiness, reliability, quality, and costs.
• Launch corrective actions with programs and design organizations and track investigation-phase progress.
• Review Service Bulletins and provide inputs for inspection service bulletin creation.
• Create technical presentations and use dashboards (e.g., Skywise Services) to support product reliability visibility.

What you'll need

• 4-years aeronautical engineering degree (or equivalent).
• 2 to 5 years of experience in relevant roles.
• Experience and/or knowledge of Cabin & Cargo Mechanical Equipment (Galleys, Lavatories, Cargo Compartment, Avionics Compartment, Floor to Floor).
• Airline operations knowledge.
• Strong customer focus and service mindset.
• Advanced interpersonal skills to collaborate with multi-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Negotiation level English (written and spoken) and good presentation skills.

Details

• Location: Bangalore Area.
• Some business travel may be required.
• May require taking turns on team stand-by rotation to support AOG queries outside normal business hours.
