Incident Response Engineer

Overview

Incident Response Consultants support customers through cybersecurity incidents by coordinating response between the customer, DFIR consultants, and other technical teams. This is a customer-facing role focused on incident coordination, communication, and progressing response activities from initial engagement through to resolution.

What you'll do

• Coordinate response activities between the customer, DFIR consultants, and other technical teams.
• Communicate with customers to help them understand what is happening during an incident.
• Identify the information or actions required from the customer and the next steps.
• Ensure response activities progress effectively from initial engagement through to resolution.
• Work closely with DFIR consultants who conduct the technical investigation.

What you'll need

• Strong understanding of enterprise technology and cybersecurity concepts.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Previous experience supporting or coordinating cybersecurity incidents.
