Incident Response Security Engineer

Overview

Incident Response Security Engineer to strengthen ClickHouse’s detection and incident response capabilities through scalable processes, tooling, and automation.

What you'll do

• Develop processes, tooling, and automation to scale incident management response.
• Collaborate with security, engineering, product, support, and business operations to define detection use cases and automation.
• Use a threat modeling centric approach for incident detection and response.
• Maintain the security logging platform.
• Stay up to date with latest threats and attack vectors to improve detection and attack surface management.
• Handle information security events and incidents across ClickHouse products and services.

What you'll need

• Background in product security, red teaming/penetration testing, or threat modeling, plus incident detection and response experience.
• Strong knowledge of one or more cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience securing large-scale customer-facing cloud infrastructures.
• Significant development and automation experience.
• Preference for Golang and Python.
